Silver School of Social Work
The Silver School of Social Work prepares men and women for a career that is both challenging and satisfying. As a student in the school, you will begin to translate your social concerns into a professional career of helping people, learning how to solve complex social problems. Social workers provide more direct assistance to people in distress than do members of any other helping profession. The Silver School of Social Work prepares you not only to be a social worker, but to work in other public service fields such as law, education, counseling, and non-profit management.
Because of the extensive professional training you receive as an undergraduate, if you wish, you may be able to earn a master's degree with only one additional year of study. If, on the other hand, you want to go to work immediately after graduation, you will be well prepared to enter your profession.
