Steinhardt School of Culture, Education,
and Human Development

The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development offers premier undergraduate programs in art, education, health, media studies, and music. The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development has a long history of connecting theory to applied learning experiences, building communities within and beyond the classroom, and nurturing the human spirit. Its students, faculty, and graduates are applying their creativity and knowledge in a wide range of occupations and settings.

As a student in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, you will study in the expansive environment of a great research university and use the urban neighborhoods of New York City and countries around the world as your laboratory. You will integrate the liberal arts with your major, so that you not only build sound critical, analytical, communication, and other professional skills but also explore world cultures, the natural and social sciences, and the humanities.
