Summer Session

NYU offers one of the largest, most vibrant summer programs in the nation. Each summer, nearly 3,000 students from colleges and universities around the world join 10,000 NYU students to explore over 100 areas of study with New York University's prestigious faculty. You can use the summer to earn credits toward your degree, explore a new interest, or study in an interesting location.

The Summer in Greenwich Village program makes available courses in New York City in nine of NYU's outstanding colleges and schools. In addition to traditional courses: intensive language classes, acting and film workshops, private music training, and credit-bearing internships are offered.

NYU Summer Study Abroad programs are part of the international mission that defines the University. NYU students and students from other colleges and universities across the country utilize the summer study abroad program to earn credits toward their degree in one of 40 programs in over 20 locations world-wide. You can learn a new language or take courses in English while you discover the world's cultural centers.
