Application Checklist
- Complete and sign the Application for Admission to Undergraduate Study.
- Complete the Personal Statements/Essay.
- Enclose the application fee ($65.00 for applicants living in the United States; $75.00 for all others) or request a fee waiver, if applicable.
- Before sending any of your forms, make photocopies for your records.
- Submit your application, either the paper version or online.
- Complete your portion (top) of the Teacher Recommendation Form and give it to a professor with a stamped, addressed envelope.
- Request your college transcript(s) be sent to the NYU Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Request your high school transcript be sent to the NYU Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Request that your SAT, SAT I, SAT II, SAT Subject Test, or ACT scores (and/or TOEFL scores, if applicable) be sent from the testing agencies directly to NYU (the NYU code for SAT and TOEFL scores is 2562; the code for ACT scores is 2838).
- Some majors require additional materials such as an audition or portfolio. See the Special Program Requirements page for exact requirements and deadlines.
