Steinhardt Special Program Requirements
Studio Art
A portfolio with artist statement is required for all applicants to the Studio Art Program. Detailed portfolio submission requirements are available at the department's web site at www.steinhardt.nyu.edu/art/portfolios . Please submit your portfolio by the deadline indicated on the website.
Portfolios should be submitted directly to the department, not to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Note also that portfolios will not be reviewed until you have submitted all of the necessary credentials and your application for admission is complete.

Music
Auditions are required for all music programs and the educational theater program. Information on audition procedures and requirements is available at www.steinhardt.nyu.edu/music/auditions. In order to expedite the process of scheduling your audition, we recommend that transfer music applicants apply by March 15th.
