Diversity Statistics

NYU is a remarkably diverse place, and it is always changing! Students come to Washington Square from all fifty states, and approximately 140 countries.

Each year we welcome a new group of students to campus, each arriving with their own unique talents, goals, and perspectives.

Here is a statistical introduction to this past year's freshman class, a group of 4,436 extraordinarily talented young men and women.
